How long can I rent the equipment?

You can rent the equipment for the duration of one party. If your event ends late at night and not ouside, pick up is next morning (not too early)

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, in addition to the rental costs, a security deposit for the replacement cost of equipment is required. This can be paid by credit card.

What are the security requirements for the equipment?

  • You are liable for the loss or damage of equipment.
  • Please do not swing mics or wind cords tightly.
  • Pull hard on mic. cord, point mic. at speakers or use in rain.
  • You are responsible to cover equipment is case of rain.
  • Covers will be supplied.
  • Event may be canceled by Karaoke Guy in case of weather risk if equipment cannot be moved inside.
  • Equipment is tested before the delivery person leaves location to make sure everything is in working order.
  • Please acknowledge soundness at time of delivery.

Who may rent?

  • You must be 18 years of age or have someone sign for you.
  • Delivery is made to your residence. Proof of residence required in the form of Driver’s License.
  • Delivery to other location proof of residence and second I.D. also required

How far in advance should I reserve the equipment?

  • It’s best to try to reserve at least a month in advance during the holiday season.
  • Always try to reserve your equipment as early as possible. While we do have quite a bit of equipment, we do get booked up at times and the equipment you want may not be available.

What is your cancelation policy

  • 48 hour cancelation is necessary during most of the year. Holidays and all of December notice is one week.
  • Deposit  required when reservation is made. Full refund is given with adequate notice.
  • In case of rain at an outdoor event: if the equipment cannot be moved inside, event can be rescheduled. Delivery charge may be applied.

Is there a delivery charge?

  • Delivery is included with the rental package within a 10 mile radius from LAX. (With delivery and pick up this represents 40 miles of driving to us.)
  • Delivery distance between 10 and 20 miles is $25. Distances over 20 miles to be discussed.
  • Equipment must be set up and taken down by qualified delivery person.

How can I pay for the equipment rental?

Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card on delivery.
