I hired Johnny for my husband’s 40th birthday party.  I reserved the platinum package online.  The prices are upfront and listed on his site.   He came to our house set up the equipment at the time he said he would.    He showed us how to pick the songs which was fairly simple.   Then he comes back the next day and picks it up!
The sound quality and equipment was awesome.   Pretty good song selection, there were a few songs that weren’t on the list but out of 13,000 songs there were plenty to pick from.  Plus you can tell him in advance any songs you want and he will make you a CD.

Completely nice guy and I would highly recommend him.  He gets 5 stars for being reliable, having great prices, service and for the convenience of having your own karaoke party in your house!

Karaoke Guy was perfect for our needs. We had a family party and wanted to include karaoke. He came early in the day to set up his system. He went thru the use instructions with me – they were easy to understand. He also provided written instructions so if I forgot anything he told me by the time the party started, I had instructions to follow. I had a weird tv set up but he managed to get it working. Having the lyrics up on our big screen tv worked well for us. We originally set a pick up time for 11pm that same night (versus him coming back the next morning, which was another option); my party ended earlier than I expected so I texted him to let him know he could come pick up the equipment a little earlier and he texted back that he was on his way. He did a quick pack-up of his equipment and my home electronics were back to their original settings and working normally again. So many songs to choose from in platinum package! We will hire this company again – this was lots of fun for my family and no work on my part to set things up or tear things down afterwards. I had never done karaoke at a party until last year. It was so much fun, and there is nothing better than discovering the talent you have among your friends, and nothing funnier than your friends who aren’t adept at singing but have the guts to do it anyway

and have a good time so matter how off-key they sing.

 We rented a machine/system and a TV on a stand for a house party. No DJ or karaoke host though, we just wanted a system available for people who wanted to get funky.

The guy set everything up and was wonderful. He came back at the end to break it all down too. The song selection could have been better, but there was enough to keep the party going and everyone happy. He even left little pencils and cards to fill out what song you were going to sing and the number you had to type in to have it play.

I’d definitely use this service again if I were having a similar party.

I was really impressed by the professional equipment.  Johnny worked around my schedule to complete the set-up for my bf’s surprise party, and came the following morning to pick up the equipment.  I got Package 3 and the song list was pretty extensive, able to accommodate all our friends’ tastes.  Considering how much it costs to rent a private room at a karaoke bar, and the convenience of being able to have everything delivered to your home (no parking and driving to worry about), the Karaoke Guy is an awesome deal.
